1) Baltimore 10 Miler- June 4 2022

Baltimore 10 Miller will return to its traditional location just outside Maryland Zoo. The flat, fast course for the Baltimore Ten Miler will take runners on a tour of Druid Hill Park and Hampden before finishing at the zoo. This is a course that is mostly not appreciated when driving through it. The run will be a fun one and the post-race party is even much rewarding. There’ll be fresh watermelon and icy craft beer and some live music on the lawn of the zoo.

2) St. Patrick’s 5K, Half & Marathon (DC)-March 13, 2022

If you’re looking for a race to participate in that’s a little further away, the St. Patrick’s Day Half Marathon and Marathon in Washington D.C. might be just what you’re looking for! This event takes place in mid-March each year and features a course that winds through some of the most iconic parts of our nation’s capital. If you’re looking to add a little bit of excitement to your training, this race is a great option!

The St. Patrick’s Day Half Marathon and Marathon also offers a relatively flat course, making it another good choice for runners looking to PR. In addition, this event is well-organized and has a great reputation among runners. If you’re looking for a race to participate in this spring, the St. Patrick’s Day Half Marathon and Marathon is a great option!

3) Red Shoe Shuffle 5k Run and Walk –April 3, 2022

If you’re looking for a more family-friendly event to participate in, the Red Shoe Shuffle is a great option. This event will take place in April and the course will start in Ronald McDonald House and wind through Little Italy and the Inner Harbor. People who register for the Red Shoe Shuffle race will receive a special red pair of socks to wear on race day.

4) The Baltimore Running Festival — October 15 2022

The Baltimore Running Festival is a marathon and half marathon that takes place in October each year. The event features a course that winds through some of the most beautiful parts of the city, including Patterson Park, Fell’s Point, and Inner Harbor. If you’re looking for an exciting race to participate in next season, look no further than the Baltimore Running Festival!

Training for a marathon can be a great way to stay focused on your fitness goals. The Baltimore Running Festival is an especially good race to train for, as it offers a relatively flat and fast course. If you’re looking for another race to participate in this fall, check out the Charm City Half Marathon or the Charm City 20 Miler. 5) Race against Traffic -May 2022

The Race Against Traffick is to create awareness about modern slavery, child sex trafficking and to loosen the chains of injustice. The race is for also raising funds to help Araminta Freedom Initiative be able to support their mission to assist survivors and end this injustice.

The race takes place in May and it’s one of the biggest fundraising events of the year and they depend on what is raised to maintain restorative programs. It would be beneficial if you start training now so as to be in good shape by then.

6) Credit Union Cherry Blossom- April 3, 2022

Credit Union also known as “The Runner’s Rite of Spring®” will be holding a run on the Washington Monument Grounds and the course passes through all the major Washington, DC Memorials.

The event aims to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a consortium of 170 premier children’s hospitals across North America. About one-third of the funds raised support Washington, DC’s own Children’s National (“Children’s Hospital”). The event which will happen in April provides a great opportunity to train and get fit in preparation for the run.

7) The Potomac River Run Marathon & Half (Spring) -May 1, 2022

The Potomac River Run Marathon & Half (Spring) out-and-back course is flat and scenic, tree-lined and shaded, with beautiful views of the Potomac River. The race begins and ends at Fletcher’s Cove. You will get to run at the highest point of 44m above sea level and the lowest point at 12m above sea level. The racecourse has almost no pavement except for two short stretches. Most parts will be crushed gravel. So be ready for that rough road.

8) Rock ’n’ Roll Running Series- March 26, 2022

The Rock ’n’ Roll series is yet another further away but close to the Baltimore race you will enjoy. The race starts at Constitution Ave, surrounded by world-famous monuments at every angle. The course will go through some of the most impressive views in the district including the Capitol Building, Washington Monument, White House, Lincoln Memorial, and more.
